John, I give you props for sticking to this every year.
Hopefully more newbies will take you up on this thread, instead of starting their own.
Hi, new forum member here! This is my second year as a LVA member and I just called to renew my subscription and get the new coupon book before my trip out to LV later this month. This will be my 3rd trip to LV, 2nd in 2 years, and 2nd using the LVAMRB and boy am I stoked. I can't believe I waited this long to join the forums though. I got my account set up today and not 1 hout had passed by when I found an offer that another member posted and now I have a free room (that would have otherwise cost $140) on the first night of my trip. I knew the membership was worth it, but to recoup three times the membership cost in less than an hour without even having to use the book (or be in the city) is amazing!
Hi ... new forum member here - signed up 01/03/11. Have been enjoying reading the forum posts. We live in MN and have gone to Vegas about 15 times in the past 7 years. We were married in Vegas in 05. We usually stay in comped rooms at MGM properties. Joined Total Rewards on our last trip to Vegas in Sept 2010 & have received calls from a Ceasars Entertainment Host and many comp offers since. We also enjoy comped rooms at the Palazzo. Our favorite hotels are the Bellagio, Aria & Palazzo....will be interesting to see if we like the Ceasars Entertainment hotels as much....
Our favorite strip casino is the Bellagio which has always been lucky for us and claims (stated in their newsletter) to have slots which are 5% looser than other strip casinos.
Whenever in Vegas, we rent a car and travel the area....can't wait to come back in May 2011 and see the completed Hoover Dam Bridge...we've been watching it's progress..and hoped to see it last Sept but it wasn't open yet. We always hit a few of the station casinos and a couple of trips ago, due to being avid CSI fans, found the Rampart casino (which has been mentioned on their show several times).
We never miss having a meal at our favorite "locals" restaurant called the Hash House (different from Hash House A Go Go)...best Monte Cristo sandwich in the world!

Welcome to the boards.
Hello all,

I'm a new user, signed up 01/14/2011. Live in Vancouver, BC and have been to Vegas 4 times and would like to go to Vegas about once a year... Going again in July (17-22 - Staying at the Cosmopolitan) for my honeymoon.

I really enjoy reading the forums and gaining a wealth of information! Not only will I be seeing new sights to Vegas because of this site, I will be saving some cash while I'm at it...

Looking forward to checking in daily.

Thanks

CM

Hi all. New member here. I'm an aspiring online poker pro, and am heading to vegas to meet up with my friend and meet my poker coach.

I recall reading an article here or in the LVA on the strategies to maximize the MRO Cupons... But hell if I can find it now .

Anyone have any clue what I"m talking about and can provide me a linky or where to find it?

I've used the search feature to no avail....

thanks in advance!

Steve
Hi, new member to LVA as of yesterday, 2/4/2011. Husband and I travel to Las Vegas at least once per year from Kansas. We generally stay at a Harrahs property with comps but just in case the comps run out, we purchased a timeshare in las vegas about 3 years ago - which we have traded for other locations every year thus far because we keep getting comps from Harrahs. My husband plays slots and black jack and I generally stick with the slots. We always rent a car when in Vegas because we like to have the freedom of going "off strip". We are headed to Vegas for spring break this year - mid March - should be interesting as this is not our normal time to be there!!!
Hi All,
The wife and I will be out there for our third year. The wife has family there and we come for the stock car race too. She has been out there before to see the family so she's the gambler between the two of us. She also goes to Atlantic City a few times a year. We've had our rooms comped each year. Free week at Imperial Palace first year, free week at Flamingo last year and the same this year. IP was a little bit old but it was fun. Upgraded our rooms at Flamingo and they were nice. Thats why we're going back there. We also have a time share by the airport, so we have a two week vacation. Just seen Anthony on Travel Channel and figured it would be a good idea to sign up for LVA. Now we need to figure out how to go about using it. Will be online alot for the next two weeks checking this out. Forums are very helpful.
Thanks
