Back at LVA after a few years missing

Hi all,

I initially joined around 2004 but let my membership lapse when I moved to the Midwest from Southern Cal (long story...) in 2008. I used to be known as "pnorman" but thought I would snaze things up a bit.

Another weird thing is that, although I've been to Vegas hundreds of times (lived there for a few months in 2006), I have not been there since the summer of 2008!! I can't believe it has been this long. I used to know some of you regulars on these boards so I hope to see some familiar user names. What I'd really like is to catch up on all of the changes that have occurred during the past two years in Sin City; of course outside the gluttonous opening of City Centre.

Who owns what hotels now? Is there any good VP left? How is my old "home away from home" The Orleans doing? What about MSS? Wow, I have so many questions....

I'm planning on skipping out there for a week or so sometime this month (June) to play a few WSOP events. I would really like to get some info on hotel deals and other value items that used to be so fun to indulge in!

Lots of things have happened in the past 2 years.

Ramper (remember him?) has gotten married and now has 7 children
all named Ramper.

Sue Casey has opened a bar in downtown LV with a sign out front
that says, "Smokers Only!!!"

Gregrio has joined the cast of Viva Elvis.

Ken2V has been hired at the Orleans as an exterminator.

Noahcat found a pair of pants with a lifetime gold pass
in one of its pockets to all Barry Manilow concerts.

CLV has formed a new mo-ped LV gang called the, "Screaming Babes."

Mindbender over on the Free Side has opened a booth on LV BLvd.
giving free advice to one and all.

MissL7777 (Lisa) has moved in with her folks in Laughlin in order to get more sunshine.

Jenaphir has joined an all-girls rock band in Seaside Heights, NJ.

That's all that comes to mind right now.

I forgot I was on this particular thread last year. I played in the WSOP in both 2010 and this year. Four events and did not cash in a single one. At least I got in cheap via satellites. Still waiting on about $10k from Full Tilt that they owe me, so I missed the main event this year.

It's good to be back on LVA; hopefully all of the whiners, haters and those oh-so-full of themselves thread authors have moved on.
Heading back to LV on July 25-Aug 2, so I'll send a TR after.
