As reported in Today's News, USA Today is out with a new list of Ten Great Urban Neighborhoods. Downtown Las Vegas is on the list.
So is Detroit.
Just one from New York City.
None from San Francisco, Boston, or Portland.
I like downtown Las Vegas. But it's not a great neighborhood. In fact, as neighborhoods go, it's terrible.
Seriously, where down there would you want to live? Buy groceries? Go for an evening stroll? Send your kid to school? Knock on a random door to borrow a cup of sugar?
