OK - it's been three or maybe more years since I was last a member. Connie and I have been doing mostly driving trips to different places in the US. But it's time to renew my membership and see what's been going on here, and if some of the folks I knew from B4 are still here.
We were at Red Rock from Jan 1st until the 7th (got a travel deal from SunCountry Airlines for 2 roundtrip tix from Minneapolis and 6 nights at Red Rock for a grand total of $787.) Too good to pass up. The last time we were looking at flying to Vegas, in Oct. 2012, I couldn't find anything less than $400 a piece just for plane tix. So we combined a visit to Vegas with a driving trip to the National Parks in Southern Utah, the North rim of the Grand Canyon and Sedona AZ. Great trip. The last night of the 3 in Vegas we saw Peter Gabriel do his "So" album in its entirety in concert (along with a bunch of other tunes, of course.) Great show.
So - here's hoping for a Happy 2014 and a lot of winners in the LVA group.
