5Dimes for horses

5Dimes for horses 5Dimes is one of the best sites for betting horses. They offer 2 options, and I don't think you can flip back and forth between them: 1. "Rebate Racebook" 2. "Plus 10% Racebook" If you are close to a breakeven bettor, and you mostly make win bets and exotics, then the Plus 10% Racebook is clearly the better option. With "Plus 10%", you get paid an extra 10% on win bets at all tracks. You will also get an extra 10% on exacta and other exotic payouts at what 5Dimes deems "major" tracks. They include over 20 tracks on this list, and you can find them here: https://www.5dimes.eu/tracks.html 5Dimes pays track odds, but there are some maxes imposed on bet amounts (but no limit for betting WPS at "major" tracks) and there are maxes on net profits/race. For example, the major tracks are further divided into "A" and "B" tracks. The max win/race at an "A" track is $30K; at a "B" track it's $15K. Even if you don't bet hugely, if you like to bet pick 4's and such, you'd have to keep an eye on that max. You can find the bet and payout limits here: https://www.5dimes.eu/payouts.html 5Dimes is also one of the best offshore racebooks for betting futures. TheGreek is generally better for Ky Derby futures, but 5Dimes will consistently be offering the best price on at least some of the horses. --Dunbar
10% bonus on winners That is an interesting way to go about the rebate thing. In LV there are always issues with how to reward players for their play. Players cards with big percentages and all other types of sideways attempts to give rebates (which are forbidden by gaming) have come and gone. The players card certainly is the easiest way to go about this but when it translates to straight out cash is where the race books get in trouble. I'm going to ask around and see how the most popular books are compensating their players. Have a feeling there may be some pretty good programs in place that may be exploitable by a competent horse bettor.
Check Stations and South Point, have a friend that says they are decent. -FH-
The most interesting part of this situation is how the "satellite" books seem to be at a disadvantage in all of this. With the cooperation of the casino the books can get the full use of a resorts resources. For places like Cantor and William Hill, they pretty much are the casino so they'd have to shoulder most, if not all of the burden. One of the many great things about 5dimes is the ability to do large transfers from one client to another with a simple email. -FH-
