10/28-29 College Football

10/28-29 College Football 2-0 to start week. 223-203-10 Been a real mediocre mid season. 109 UAB (+10) Also +6' 1st half. UAB has started to kind of figure it out and should have won outright at Miss State last week. 125 Northern Illinois OV 54 126 Western Michigan (+8') Also +5 1st half. No Illinois avenged their 09' loss to C Mich, which kept them out of MAC title game. Dead spot for NIU. 119 Northwestern OV 58 120 Indiana (+3') Do or die for Indiana here. Northwestern hung over from LW's 17-0 blown lead. Actually outgained Illinois but had a -4 TO margin and a punt blocked for a safety. 112 Illinois UN 42 Illini couldn't break 300 yards on a bad Indiana defense. Purdue also can't throw the ball at all. Illinois defense fairly good. 113 Miami FL OV 51 162 Kansas State (+4') Also +3 (-120) 1st H. Okla St off first loss to ruin their undefeated season. Hangover. More later. Late start this week with all of the other stuff going on.
145 Tulsa (+9) 145 Tulsa OV 62' Also 1st Half +5'. Tulsa has one of the nation's worst pass defenses (#120) so Irish will air it out. However, Tulsa has a balanced offense and can run the ball very well. Who knows how the ND kids will react to the tragic events of this past Wednesday. I know Tulsa will at least be fired up to play at Notre Dame.
147 UTEP (+3) Came back to earth after a 5-1 start and now 2 straight losses (at UAB in a bad spot and at home against Tulane?). Now they are back to the more appropriate line. UTEP is still good enough to beat the bad teams.
any opinion on tonight's game. thanks

106 UConn (+3') 1st H 106 UConn (+5') Game
149 SMU OV 53' 150 Tulane (+8) Also (+4') (-108) 1st H. SMU has turned the ball over 7 times the L3 games. 141 Ball State (+10')(-105) Also (+6) (-105) 1st H. Yes, Ball State lost to E Mich at home 2 wks ago. Kent did beat BG on the road by a ton, but BG was badly injured all throughout their team. 171 Duke (+14) (-120) Letdown city for Navy. Duke can still score a lot of points and numerous backdoor possibilities as well. 123 Wake Forest (+6) Wake off a bye and Grobe always a good dog. 159 Arizona (-9) (-105) 160 UCLA UN 49' The Bruin offense can't move the ball at all through the air. They can run, but Arizona stacks the box here. 181 California (+3) 181/182 Cal/Oregon St OV 52' Revenge from LY and the Bears have the better defense.
178 New Mexico St UN 47 178 New Mexico St (+3') also +2 1st H. Two atrocious teams. I had SJ St LW and they were lucky to cover. Fresno let up off the gas. When in doubt, take the pts. 174 Eastern Michigan (+10') Who the hell is Toledo to lay DD on the road in conf play? They aren't Temple or Northern Illinois. Toledo is 4-0 in MAC play but they have huge game with Northern Illinois on deck.
134 Ole Miss (+7) (-105) Auburn is eventually going to crack. I know I keep saying it, but eventually they wiil. Ole Miss has played decent in L2 wks (both road defeats at Bama and at Arkansas). They should have covered at Ark, but Houston Nutt got too cute and went to the Wild Rebel and took Masoli out of the game and the RB taking the snap fumbled.
186 Memphis (+14) (-105) Houston was an 8.5-pt dog at SMU and now they go to laying 2 TD on the road. Too big of a swing even against sorry Memphis. Houston is still playing a frosh QB and have a defense that gives up a shitload of yards. 135/136 Baylor/Texas UN 53' 136 Texas (-7) (-114) Texas absolutely shut down Nebraska and Taylor Martinez on the road. Their defense is made to stop the spread. It will here. 154 Washington (+7') 183 Washington St (+21') (-106) Also +12' 1st H. Arizona St losing focus and Wazzu, while undermanned, plays hard every week. 131 Kentucky (+6') 129 Vanderbilt (+21) (-120)
188 Air Force (+7) (-106)
