we all know usc gets premium recruits, but the qb situation this year continues to amaze me. mitch mustain can't even get a mention, and he was one of the most highly sought after qbs in the land 3 years ago. he's 8-0 in games he started at arkansas as a true freshman, with a 10-9 td/int ratio. NOT SAYING he should play at all, just amazed at the situation.

I still can't believe all of the "Elway/Montana" type hype around the "drive" by Barkley. He played well, did what he needed to do to win -- not make mistakes. Give him credit. However, that game vs. OSU was won for USC by Tressel (oops, I mean McKnight on the last drive). SC should be favored by 20 or more, just not this week situationally. The only thing that scares me is that it almost seems too obvious. Still, I am in, large.

When I went to bet ML it was down to +650 from +1000 (both on 19 point lines.) I couldn't muster it.
