QB Griffin is multi-talented and gaining much confidence as we have seen him throw for 400+ yards in the last 2 games.
Coach Art Briles commented in this week's press conference...
On the improved passing of Sophomore QB Robert Griffin III…
“I think the game has slowed down for him and that’s the main thing. That’s when you know that you have a chance for production when the game gets slow and you see things before they happen. I certainly think that’s beginning to happen for him and hopefully for a lot of our players. I think that’s probably the reason you’re seeing him sit in the pocket a little bit more and do some things you might not have seen him do as a true freshman. You have to remember as a true freshman it’s tough on those guys with the speed of the game.â€
The Buffs offense is once again the achilles heel here as they are very inconsistent and IMO just can not go blow for blow with Baylor.
Coach Hawkins insists there is no QB controversy again between his son (who is in his 17th season at Colorado :p) and Tyler Hansen.

Colorado captain Scotty McKnight said after a 26-0 loss to Missouri on Saturday that the offense and special teams have to stop victimizing the defense and play up to the level the defense is playing if the program is ever going to turn things around on the road and if the team has any hope of a winning season this fall.
"Offensively and on specialteams we have to find a way to help our defense out, because they`re playing great," the senior wide receiver said.
