151 Oklahoma –6.5 The Hurricanes have looked good on offense the first two games of the season. The Hurricanes pass protection was good against the mediocre fronts of Florida State and Georgia Tech, but not against Virginia Tech. As good as the Hokies are up front defensively, the Sooners appear to be better, with the rush end trio of Jeremy Beal, Auston English and Frank Alexander to go along with All-American defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. The Sooner defense has only allowed opponents 14 points on the season and will have two full weeks to prepare for this game.
I have not been that impressed with the Hurricanes defense. They allowed 272 yards rushing to Virginia Tech team last week that is without their number one running back. Also the Hokies piled up all these rushing yards in a rain storm when the canes knew what was coming. The Seminoles had no issues moving the ball against them either putting up 400 yards of offense. All reports about Bradford say he is making good progress and all rehab to this point has been positive. If the news comes out that he will be the starter I think this line only goes up, if not Landry Jones has now had a few games under his belt and threw for six TD’s against Tulsa.
