Wide receiver Reggie Wayne practiced for the first time this week on Friday, when the Indianapolis Colts listed him as questionable for the San Francisco 49ers’ visit to Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
Questionable means Wayne has a 50 percent chance of playing. He suffered a strained groin muscle at St. Louis last week.
Also practicing for the first time this week was defensive end Dwight Freeney (knee).
If I’m practicing on a Friday,” Freeney said after practice, “I’ll definitely I’ll be out there.”
Wayne was not available for comment.
Quarterback Peyton Manning was listed as a “limited participant” on the practice report and categorized as “not injury related, rested.”
