Big Lions fan here(no laughing please). Without sounding too much like a homer I really like them today also for a lot of the same reasons we have talked about earlier in this thread.
I can only speak on behalf of the Lions side of the things, as I read all about them daily. You really get this sort of feeling from them that they really want to play well today, win, etc.
Just all the things I have heard and read seem to say this game means a little more to them then maybe how most teams would say or feel about a meaningless exhibition game.
Also I think it's real good news that Stafford is playing later on, against the 2nd teamers instead of starting. This should only make things easier on him.
Word out of camp is he is most likely going to win the starting job.
I think there is a real big push by the coaches to get him some much needed confidence and some early sucess under his belt.
I think this is a nice little positive and will help our chances in winning this.
