Warner last week decleated. Favre this week. Vikings were just in turmoil 3 weeks ago, coach fighting with qb....now all is ok??
Favre is totally in control IMO. Coach an idiot. What in hell do you have against old superstars who are still performing at the highest level? Favre has just had his best year EVER! Min, led by Favre, pound a hot, physical Dallas team, and yet nothing but hate for the old one.
How come some guys seem to end up with the money when there's the same mountain of facts that can be found by any bettor regarding any wager? There's no secret info regarding most bets, IMO. Some bets yes, most no. To use an analogy, every sculptor starts out with the same mound of clay, so to speak.
I see NO evidence that the same handicappers end up winning vs current WA numbers year after year in the NFL on sides. Care to name just ONE such handicapper?
Fezz, You don't recommend buying the 1/2 point?
Doesn't it seem like 53 is a completely square line given the fact that, if Farve does flounder, Minnesota's defense is pretty damn good and will try and keep them in the game? They ain't playing Arizona's shredded defense again you know.
Game will be high scoring. NO will spread out Minnesota with all their receiving options (WR, RB and possibly Shockey depending on how bad his leg is). No way, Minnesota stops that offense unless turnovers happen. Can Minnesota score? Yes, probably not enough to win but they will score. Game should be an easy over. Early look for me so I could change my mind but I see this going WAY over the total. If this would go down to 51, it would have tremendous value because I see both teams getting at least 24 points, meaning 27-24 is minimum final score.

and they aint playin.......... But they buried the awesome Ariz Cards, so all is right in the Big Easy? They have played two defenses all year that can would be considered above avg: Dallas(iffy) and the NYJets. Both at home. They score 17 in a loss to Dallas and get 10 offensive points in a win against the NYJETS. And everybody is jumping on this bandwagon?.........

Surely you don't mean that someone wins any given bet, while others lose on the same bet, a true but vacuous statement.
It's what you do with the facts that counts. Saying that double-digit favorites are whatever they are ATS in bowl games and ignoring another fact, that Cincinnati's coach had left the team, is a bad use of information. (Yes, yes, after the fact. I know.)

New Orleans outgained their oppomnents 404-358. Min outgained their opponents 380-306.

Wouldn't it only be fair to also mention the Vikings have recently lost badly at Arizona (17-30 due to an up tempo offense by Arz), lost badly at Carolina and lost at Chicago? Certainly all teams not even close to NO, especially when you consider they couldn't compete at Arizona and we all saw what happened to Arz last week at NO. Couldn't one also say they don't want to be on the Vikings bandwagon with that resume?
