#347 UW-Whitewater +2.5 CFB D3 Championship Mount Union starter Seaman is very questionable after injuring himself last week making a tackle. According to insiders Seaman did not practice yesterday and is likely unavailable today. Whitewater has been playing their backup due to injury but he has gotten all the snaps in the playoffs and should be better prepared for today. Also, the Whitewater starter was available in an emergency last week and both options should be availablefor the championship game.
There aren't a wide array of ratings in D3 football but all I've seenshow Whitewater's body of work as better than Mount unions. Here is masseys to start. Mount Union only returns seven starters from last years team that lost 38-28 to UW-Whitewater in the championship game whereas Whitewater brings back nearly double that with 13 returning starters, including seven on offense and four of the five offensive line spots. Union returns only 31 letterwinners from last years team whereas Whitewater returns 79 of 97.
Only two of Mount Union's top eight tacklers this season are seniors. Four of that same group of eight are either freshmen or sophomores, a bit of a rarity when dealing with a program like Mount Union. "We have some seniors ... just not as many as we usually have," Mount Union head coach Larry Kehres said matter-of-factly.
