Hey Prof Meyer, what is the SDQL for this?
Hey Prof Meyer, what is the SDQL for this?
regardless of week it's a good spot for GB at home laying around a TD but not laying ridiculous double digits (6-12 points) they have a bye week coming up next and want to crush an opponent they SHOULD beat so they can head into their time off with a big win since 2002, 38-6 ATS
Hey Prof Meyer, what is the SDQL for this?
What I would do is set the week number of the teams eighth previous game plus eight equal to the current week number. For example, if the team had a bye in week 3 and it was week 12, they would be playing their ninth game in as many weeks. So the SDQL is: pppppppp:week + 8 = week This SDQL will give the results of teams when they had a game in each of the previous eight weeks. Not elegant, but it gets the job done. Prof M.
So the SDQL is: pppppppp:week + 8 = week
didnt thnk about that. i cheated week=9 and wins+losses=8

Thanks for posting this jefff. The SDQL text for the 38-6 ATS system is: n:week=week + 2 and H and -12=2002 If we insist that the team have a winning record of better than 600, we get 25-1 ATS: n:week=week + 2 and H and -12=2002 and WP>60 Nice find. Prof M.
can anyone just translate this into : do we fade these teams or bet on teams
can anyone just translate this into : do we fade these teams or bet on teams
Trend is 25-1 if you bet ON teams that are favored by 6 or more, have a win % better than 60 and are playing their 9th week in a row. Not sure that anyone took into account the upcoming bye or whether all teams have to have bye by the 9th week.
If they already had a bye then they could not have played for the ninth straight week.
can anyone just translate this into : do we fade these teams or bet on teams
play ON: teams that are heading into their bye week the following week. they are at home that are a favorite of 6 to 12 points since the new bye week system (2002), this is 38-6 ATS ------- if their win % is 60% or better, then that's an even nicer thing. since 2002, this is 25-1 ATS
