414 WASH +1 vs. Steelers, 2 weight
Same argument here. Who's to say what's no money and what's big money? If a guy's coming up and has talent, but no bankroll to start, why should he worry about anything other than building that bankroll, which means getting it in the best he can? It's probably not in the best interests of many, but it's in his if he's at his limit.
I'd like to think I would round up some investors and some accounts to bet and wait as long as possible and then bet as much as possible. It is so easy to judge but if you can win, why fuck around trying to earn a living? The ability to win is worth a hell of a lot more than a living wage or whatever someone "building a bankroll" is trying to do.
I follow. But I'm saying it's inevitable that some will have motives that don't include consideration of these other things. And I also follow that.
Let me be clear. I have NO PROBLEM with people betting their own money at any time. My beef is with people posting their games for no money before the market matures.
Where is Fezzik's interest? Keeping LVA members happy or keeping unknown people who are working hard on the same stuff happy? Are these unknown people looking out or waiting for Fezzik in any way? Can't imagine they would be happy with any release time that comes before they are down. The more you need to bet, the longer you have to wait, the better you have to be.

I think we know where Ed sides in this debate. LOL
It's not like I have never had a line taken out on me. I just don't see how I can blame anyone without any affiliation to me for doing it.
I will add my opinion as one who has neither the time nor skill to handicap on my own. Ive learned a lot from Fezzik and other sharps on forums like this over the past few years and consider myself a sharp bettor now except for the fact I have to rely on others like Fezzik, Ed, etc. However, my worry as a non-pro in joining here is exactly what is happening - I do not have the ability to monitor the forum all day and will miss out on most of Fezziks plays due to the line moving too much once he releases. Now that is my problem and Fezzik can do whatever he wants - he's earned that right as has Ed and anyone else doing their own capping - but it's why I stopped paying for Ed's service long ago and likely why this site won't help what I'll call the "non-professionals" too much, in terms of being able to follow someone who is successful long term and their releases (i.e. get down at a number close to their release). Reminds of when I use to follow Cokin's plays on Sunday night - early on you could get his numbers the next morning and then he got well known and it got to where you had to be sitting at your computer ready when he released at midnight - I was willing to do that because I could make it work. Still, at $25/month more than worth the price of admission. And I give my thanks for those who try to help the non-pro's like me.
The real value of this forum will be following other select sharps I'm coughing up massive +EV, win or lose, right now, but I need others to do the same to make this a great board!
I'm coughing up massive +EV, win or lose, right now, but I need others to do the same to make this a great board!
I will try and add to this site as well, when the plays come along. Cheers
I'll add that we never positioned this as a betting service. Of course, there will be lots of bets posted and that's an added plus. And as Fezzik says, as others pitch in that will get even better. But offering picks for money -- or more properly stated, trying to make it so all subscribers get their "money's worth" in picks access or actual winners -- will never be what we do here. Those who seek that may well decide this is not for them.
