8/6 CFL and Arena

8/6 CFL and Arena CFL: 443 Toronto (+6) ARENA PLAYOFFS: Keep in mind I have stunk in this league this year. However, whenever I have a bad reg season, I usually have a better postseason. Hopefully that holds true to form. 491/492 Orlando/Jacksonville OV 110 492 Jacksonville (-7) 493/494 Arizona/Spokane UN 112 493 Arizona (+7)
quick question shooter. you obviously have been very successful. are all the picks you post weighted the same? In other words, do you bet the same amount on each play? Is there a league/sport you feel your bets are better in than the others? Thanks!
Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of my plays are weighted the same. I typically don't post units b/c I may add to a certain play or get out of a play made early in the week in order to hedge, depending on what the market does.
Teddy Covers and RAS are both pretty successful. I would assume that when Shooter posts a Teddy Covers play (Jacksonville OVER last night) 5 points post move (Was released at OVER 105) he prolly weights it for 1/2 unit. Whereas when he is able to post a RAS play that has only moved a point or two he prolly weights it as a full unit. I would imagine Fezz and Alf plays (Toronto in CFL last night was Alf) he prolly weighted it as a full unit play at +6 (even though at the time of his original post 5 was the w/a line). Hope this helps.

Its what you do and can never get away from. It certainly can not help unless you work with Shooter and know the answer. Based on past posts we all know its not the case. Some get it-Some grow up, Some remain the same no matter where they post.
I agree. Even though there is 100% truth in what I originally posted I immediately decided there was no good reason to post it so I decided immediately to delete it on my own accord. Surprised you were able to make an immediate resonse to it. Any barbeques with Money Mayweather lately? :)
OK, I get it. I'm not allowed to like the same side of a game as someone else because that's stealing another play. Contrary to this particular person's belief, I have a thorough knowledge of most sports and am able to pick my own side. I am so sick of people picking fights with me, particularly someone who is hanging by a thread here already. Keep picking fights with me and you will be the one shown the door here, not me. Members, this of course is not directed at you.
As said in previous post. I erased thread within 30 seconds of posting it. Decided nothing good could come of it. We don't have to get along. I shouldn't have even considered posting it in the first place. I was surpised Members saw it in the miniscule amount of time that it was up. I don't agree with the way you "borrow" other peoples work or that you post at non w/a lines. But there was no need in me posting in your thread, that is why I immediately deleted it. I'm sorry for initially responding. Good luck on your (and others) plays. Sorry burg
I did my own handicapping on the plays. I am allowed to like a side that someone else likes as well. I had no idea what Teddy's play was because I don't subscribe to his service, although he is very good. In fact, had I saw the line had moved that much, I more than likely would have laid off and was lucky it worked out. I didn't steal anyone's stuff. Just because I don't always post extensive writeups, doesn't mean that I don't do my own thinking on the plays. Focus on your own handicapping and quit paying so much attention to others would be my best advice going forward.
Thanks Shooter!!! Good Luck!!!
