9/16-18 College Football

9/16-18 College Football 56-32-1 YTD. Hot start early last Saturday, but bad finish. That'll happen. friday: 103/104 Kansas/Southern Miss OV 48' The Jayhawks found their QB LW. SM coach Fedora was finalist for KU job. They also outplayed KU and lost in Lawrence LY. SM if they get a lead won't let up. 105/106 Cal/Nevada OV 64' 106 Nevada (+3) (-115) Like the side a little better than total. Cal buried Colorado LW but CU turned it over 5 times. Perception is that the WAC is weak since everyone seemingly wants to leave it. Cal overrated big time.
cool... both games friday though 5 & 7:00pst
113 Ball State (+17) (-113) Ball State lost at home to Liberty LW. They will be focused here for the in-state Big 10 opponent though. Purdue is still getting used to this new offense and new QB Marve.
171/172 Texas/Texas Tech UN 55 (matchbook) Better get it now before it moves. I haven't worked my way that far down the card yet, but Texas is still lookking for an offensive identity but they did well against spread option Wyoming defensively.

119 Ohio U (+30') (-103) Tough to go against Ohio State here I know. Ohio coming off conference home loss where they got bet up to -10 (I took Toledo and under for wins there). Ohio State comes off a big win and sometimes will throw in a clinker against a lesser opponent. I think the clinker comes here. Ohio hung in here a couple years ago.
121 Kent (+21) Line is not an overreaction to Penn St's loss at Bama. Bama is #1 in the country after all. This looks like too soft of a number for PSU on the surface, but looks can be deceiving. Kent held a quality back in BC's Montell Harris to only 80 yards. They had 5 TO's last week, but two of them were on punt muffs leading directly to 6 points. Eugene Jarvis DNP LW but is listed as day-to-day now. I think Kent will force the freshman QB Bolden to beat them.
Thanks Shooter, awesome stuff!

135/136 Hawaii/Colorado OV 54' 143/144 USC/Minnesota OV 53 USC played better defense last week b/c UVA runs a similar more pro-style offense. Minny runs the same, but some spread stuff mixed in. USC will struggle against the spread this year running their Tampa 2. Plus, Barkley wasn't sharp in 2nd Half vs. UVA. He will be much sharper here.
147/148 Arizona State/Wisconsin OV 46' 149/150 Nebraska/Washington UN 53' 179/180 Fresno State/Utah State OV 57'
