9/9-11 College Football

9/9-11 College Football 27-13-1 LW in College Football. 301/302 Auburn/Mississippi State OV 54 Miss State in 2nd year of former Florida OC Dan Mullen's spread and Auburn actually has a QB in Cameron Newton that can throw the ball a little bit in this offense. More to come.
302 Mississippi State (+2') I'll take Mullen over Chizik in this coaching matchup. Miss State won its last "big game" of the year LY against Ole Miss. There is positive momentum there now.
Friday: 306 Houston (-19') Late on this one but this is a woodshed. LY, Houston was #12 in the country and came off B2B wins over Big 12 opp (week 2 @ Oklahoma St and against Texas Tech (H). They went to UTEP as 2 TD favs and lost, 41-58. It was actually one of my bigger plays last season. Houston is best team in CUSA and other "mid-majors" getting like Boise and TCU getting more pub. Those programs are where Houston wants to be. National TV, although on a late Friday night. Showcase game for the Cougars. 308 Kansas (+14) I like to play these situations more often than not. KU lost at home to I-AA N Dakota St, 6-3. -2 in TO margin cost KU. GT has 3 big ACC games on deck. Kansas chomping at the bit to redeem themselves under a new coach.
309 Memphis (+13) Hold your nose if you are taking this one. Memphis got destroyed LW at Miss State (49-7) and East Carolina won as about a 7'-pt dog on a hail mary at the end over Tulsa. ECU now lays almost 2 TD's this week. ECU got a decent win, but how can you lay that wood with a team that gave up 579 yards, 49 points, and is on a short week with a new HC? Who is ECU to be laying this # in a conference game in 2nd game of the season? There is not that much of a talent gap here. CUSA pretty much has = talent across the board, just like the MAC and the Sun Belt. Memphis is the only way too look on this game, especially with all the blind trend players (ECU 12-1 ATS vs. Memphis since 94') playing the Pirates.

312 South Carolina (-3) (-115) Spurrier's best team ever in Columbia going against freshman QB making first road start. Gamecocks controlled the game in Athens last year in 1st downs, yardage and time of poss, but got a PAT blocked in the 4th and gave up a FG, but had a shot to win and couldn't convert on 4th & 4 from the 7. Statement game for the Gamecocks here. 313/314 Duke (+5') 313/314 Duke/Wake Forest OV 50 Wake laid -4 on the road at Duke LY (won 45-34) and now they are at home only laying 5.5. Really. Duke returns the entire OL.
315 Hawaii (+3) Hawaii travelling all the way across the country and only getting +3?
I like that OVER 54 ALOT....... Haw isn't really traveling they are already onsite. Aub OV a very good play, but it moved......
Haw isn't really traveling they are already onsite. Aub OV a very good play, but it moved......
True on Hawaii. I heard that on the telecast last week. I knew the Auburn OV would move. Arky State went up and down the field on them for most of the game particularly through the air.
318 Wisconsin (-37') The Badgers laid down in the 4th in Vegas. San Jose is a BAD, BAD team. They are a candidate for an 0-fer season. Bama ran 41 times for 257 yds even without Ingram. Clay and Ball could combine for over 300 here.
San Jose St. is indeed one of the worst teams in the FBS or whatever it's called. How do you know they won't lay down in the 4th again, though?
