Add Baltimore's coach to the retard group

Add Baltimore's coach to the retard group It's like one a week these days. In FG range - 50 yarder 1st down. Rather than run up the middle 2-3 times to get 5 yards or so, they drop back 7-8 yards to pass 3 times. 1st time - offensive interference - out of range. Second back in range. Third sacked and fumble - out of range and time runs out making it hurried. I mean these guys are dumb as rocks
He gets equal points for the going on 4th call.
Doulbe Points for the 'obvious' right call going for it 4th and 5 Dumbo Announcers say "You GOT to punt". WHY????????? 40 yards of field position typically not worth very much.....give a decent NFL QB 4 downs and 1 minute, and he can get you 40 yards in 40 seconds......
Definitely agree with Fezz and I think the OP is resulting a bit. I don't think it's silly to try to increase your chances of making an FG from the 60% range (maybe for a 50 yarder in good conditions). I guess you think he should have rushed for a few more yards and made it a 70% chance, but trying for another first down and increasing your chances to the 80-90% range (or possibly getting lucky and scoring a TD) isn't a bad idea either. There is more risk with this scenario and we saw that play out, but I don't think it necessarily outweighs the benefit. Might be a close call.

No problem with trying to advance the ball.. IF you dont want to run, call a pass with a 3 yard drop or a 5 yard drop. Having your QB drop 7-8 yards is dumb And the QB must be told to throw it away if no one is open. You can not be sacked
sometimes players don't execute well. Flacco probably should have known to dump it soon and not risk a sack, but he didn't. Same with Favre who took a 12-yard sack on 1st or 2nd and goal at the 1! Or how about Vince Young taking a sack at the opponent 20 and running out of time in the 1st half. These guys are athletes...and using their brain isn't a high priority most of the time.
