Alan boston to appear on winning wednesdays live today!!!
Never listened to Boston before but I thought he sounded like he had just polished off a couple huge lines just before the show.
I used to like Boston because he was different, but his act has worn thin. He constantly acts overconfident, and is WAY too stubborn about certain teams and coaches. Also, he is a VERY POOR listener. I remember when he and Fezzik were on some radio show discussing a SB game ( I think it was NE/Car). Boston LOVED NE HUGE! HUGE! Fezzik calmly pointed out that NE was a much better bet on the money line than on the PS. Boston, instead of debating the point, just stated (shouted) that you should forget about NE on the ML, as NE would simply DESTROY Car. NE, of course, won SU, but lost the PS. Boston is a bully. He talks too much, is too confident (for someone with a losing posted record), and is not interested in listening to those who do not agree with him. Plus, from all accounts, he doesn't pay his gambling debts! He admited that he failed to pay a book once when he overbet, fell behind, and chased.
I just remember losing some bets FADING this coach, so maybe I'm biased............ Call me jaded, but if you are going to run around calling out others as 'incompetent', 'idiots', etc, bullying left and right, making poker dealers cry, and just an all around critical guy, maybe, just maybe you should be very successful at the thing you do.............. Great moments in Gambling history..........Good Ole Boston misses that NE is -215 on the ML in the SB and tells his followers to lay NE -7 (AFTER the line moved up from -6.5). After NE wins by 3 (and literally EVERY sharp bettors win the game either with NE ML AND/OR carolina 7.5 -120), he reacts with righteous indignation when told his advice was bad. He literally goes NUTS to be questioned. Nice job Alan. Roy Williams would have been proud of that NE -7 call.
I just happened to have this in my harddrive...it was the superbowl (NE vs. CAR) preview from the Stardust show, and Fezzik talks about Alan Boston's prediction..and has some good superbowl advice as well, that can be useful year after year: https://www.mrbowling300.com/012804.mp3
Thanks mrbowling. I was correct about the game.
Thanks mrbowling. I was correct about the game.
You have NEVER lost OS. You are my idol. I am NOT being funny. You are more of a real gambler than Fezzik. He is scared to post playoff games. You are not.
This is a foolish statement. Should people make up plays so "gamblers" have something to do?
This is a foolish statement. Should people make up plays so "gamblers" have something to do?
How many gamblers with NFL specialty have not bet these playoff games? Guessdimate? Not many.
This is a foolish statement. Should people make up plays so "gamblers" have something to do?
Fezzik posted that "GB +1 was the right bet" and he missed it. GB +1 was WA until Thursday night so it's pretty reasonable to say any handicapper who missed a line that was available for 4 days made a mistake. For that matter, any time a line moves from +2.5 to -2.5 and a handicapper doesn't produce a play, I'd say that person's too conservative.
Thanks mrbowling. I was correct about the game.
Boston was on the Stardust Line show with JK a few days earlier when he made his 44-0 New England prediction. I wish I had saved that show.
There were 200 games to choose from the last two days and you think the value is in four NFL games?
