Alf M's College Football Week # 12 Early Plays 127 Auburn +4
This line has bounced around quite a bit and when Pinny opened Alabama -3.5, I had to get +4 and I still think Auburn is the right side despite most cappers are opposite. Bama hasn't faced an offense nor a QB like Cam Newton who with a big game here locks up the Heisman. I also believe a key handicapping factor is that Auburn had a much needed rest, off last week, after playing 11 consecutive games. Yes, Bama played cup cake Georgia State LW, and they did put all of their starters in, not the same IMO. If the game comes down to the last possesion I want a big play defense with DT Nick Fairley and the top offense in the SEC, AND plus points.
158 Connecticut -1.5
U Conn finally broke through on the road LW vs Syracuse and despite only 98 yards passing, seem to turn the game around via defense. One thing we don't like is that Connecticut tends to play up to their competition. Cincinnati benefitted from at least 4 T.Os and Rutgers is injury riddled, so their big win LW does not look as good.

109 Texas A&M -3
The Longhorns have lost to UCLA, Iowa St, OKST and Baylor all at home. The defense cannot stop anyone lately giving up huge numbers, Kansas State 261 yds rushing, UCLA 204, Oklahoma 409 passing, FAU 200+. A&M's defense improving holds Nebraska to 6 points. A&M with help, can still win the BIG 12 South. Texas needs to win just to have a shot at a Bowl = pressure squarely on the Longhorns.
131 Colorado +16.5
Nebraska has been self destructing lately. HC Pelini tirades and 16 penalties LW are just the tip of the iceberg. QB Martinez is questionable with an ankle injury. Colorado playing inspired football since HC Hawkins fired and now the theme this week is "Last shot at Big Red" as Nebraska is headed for the Big 10 and Colorado to the Pac 10.
