Alf M's Week # 7 College Football Early Plays Early plays
373 Hawaii -3
Utah State had last week off and somehow have new injuries (top DE) to compound the many injuries they already have. The Aggies have not been the same team since losing to Fresno State. In fact Hawaii beat Fresno recently 49-27 and also Lou Tech 41-21 while Utah State lost to both SUP and ATS.
Plain and simple Hawaii is a hot team winning 4 straight. Utah State cannot match the offense, skill position players, and point production.

302 Oregon -21.5........I would lay up to and including -24.
UCLA has multiple injuries at CB, their best FB is suspended, along with WR/KR Josh Smith, their offense is now where near No.#1 Oregon's and now they have looming suspensions. This line has to go up.
There are also reports that QB Prince has missed practice time again, due to his knee injury. Perhaps with more suspensions on the horizon, they may sit him out in this game?
304 Cincinnati -7 -115
South Florida has shown signs of quiting in the 4th Q and once they get behind they do not have the weapons nor QB to lead them back.
Cincinnati made some major adjustments at half time and held Louisville to 3 points in the 2nd half last week. I see this team improving each week since their bye week on both sides of the ball.
326 Ohio State -23
There are several quotes by Ohio State players after last weeks loss to Wisconsin like "steam coming out of our ears" etc....that just may be the ticket this week as the Buckeyes prepare for revenge. Yes, revenge against their loss to Purdue last season.
I don't think Purdue FR QB Rob Henry who likes to tuck and run, will have the same success against a solid run defense this week. Purdue with 2 wins vs. Northwestern and Minnesota now goes on the road and steps up in class big time.
I would lay -24 or less.
340 Arkansas -9.5
QB Ryan Mallet looks like the starter and we had no problems with Tyler Wilson in there either. But this line is short by 4-5 pts IMO and overvalued because Arkansas gave up 65 points LW to Auburn. Well, if you watched the game ARK was ahead in the 4th Q and 2 quick turnovers later and they are out of it.
This is also a revenge game for Arkansas, Ole Miss won 30-17 at home after Arkansas playing B2B road games gave everything they had the week prior and lost a close contest 20-23 to Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators. First home game this month for the Razorbacks should produce the effort we need to cover the number.
358 Northern Illinois -9.5
308 Louisville -1
By now everyone is aware that FR Michael Box will start at QB for U Conn. His first Big East start on the road at sold out Papa John's Stadium will surely test the kid and obviously this is the reason for the line move. Also, Louisville QB Froman and RB Powell despite being banged up in the Cincy game, are ready to go. U Conn has 3 wins, they are all at home and unless they can control the clock, Louisville has so much more firepower that if ahead by double digits this could get ugly.
366 Under 53.5 ASU-CAL
I was going to wait until Friday or early Sat, but this line may have peaked. Read John Netto's write up and analysis in the Football threads, I cannot add anything to that.
possible more plays and analysis later...
