All year long, I keep hearing "Bama is as Good as Florida!"

All year long, I keep hearing "Bama is as Good as Florida!" Talk Talk Talk. Ten days ago on the Money Talks Radio, I said Fla would easily be more than a 3 point favorite over Bama. Florida is -4.5 right now at Pinnacle......where are the Alabama backers???

Fez, you said 6 in response to my question on this a week or so ago so it's down some from that. I believe Bama is better than Florida EXCEPT for obvious QB position, which of course is huge. Tebow is down since his concussion, but coming on strong now and he'll be full bore by this game so it's pretty huge - don't see him throwing two pick 6's like he did at Miss ST - think the Bama QB might throw one though. I would think that would keep the line above 3 but we'll see when the line gets posted where more American bettors can get at it - in reading message boards, I think there will be Bama takers at 4'. We shall see - one game to go for each.

I can't bet Bama on this lookahead considering they still have Auburn this week. If both come out winners and healthy, I'd take +4.5. I think it will close lower... whether by sharp or square influences.

Six may have been too high Five more likely. My point is that 'pk' or "Al-2" type lines would be ludicrous.......

Just looked at the yards per play numbers, and they are basically even. Barring a bad showing vs Auburn (who I think is a good bet this week), I don't think this closes higher than 3. Bama will also be a rushing dog with a total in the high 30's low 40's.. that will drum up tout support, deserved or not.

pick or -2 is ludicrous but Florida is going to have to produice more offense. Problem is Tebo has delivered every time he is needed. AND he is needed AGAIN. FL was in trouble in last years game and Tebo came up big.

If their QB doesn't lose the game for them, I'll think they'll be right there at the end and might just get Florida this year. Tebow doesn't have the supporting cast around him this year that he did last year and Bama is stronger than last year so it should be one hell of a game! I'll be on them big time at anything over 3...

No hurry....line will go up.l Everyone who bet Fla -3.5 vs. Oklahoma last year will be firing again......and they will remember the Youtes pounding this bama team.

i laid the 3 -10 at lucky's open for as much as they would take a couple weeks back. the line is just right floating around in the 4.5-5.5 dead zone, imo.
