Andrew Lange needs to spend a weekend with Teddy Covers, he just doesn't get it

Andrew Lange needs to spend a weekend with Teddy Covers, he just doesn't get it Andrew "Take me through a typical weekend, what do you do Teddy?" Teddy "......dead air.......uh.....I don't understand. I bet. I watch games.....I bet 12-16 halftimes......I don't eat. I don't break ......early in the evening I start pouring over boxscores, I collapse into bet late late in the evening". Andrew "That's funny, seriously Teddy take me through your weekend, what do you really do". ........Good grief. MEMO TO ANDREW!!! The real guys trying to win are betting/working 16 hours EVERY Saturday and Sunday.
Steve, Sounds like you had a bad day and are in your nitpick bitching mood. Segment as you describe not quite how it went down and not even close to what was said. Seems like it was some opening segment banter. No dead air and no laugh from Andrew saying "no really." Andrew knows exactly how dedicated Teddy and many of the Sportsmemo handicappers are to working hard and producing winners. Actually, I had a very bad weekend, and I was in a nitpicking embellishing mood I encourage all to listen to the segment, let us know what you think. I apologize as I did juice this one up a bit, but I do think Andrew doesn't understand just how hard Teddy works. I DO think Tim has a very good read on this.........and probably thinks "That Teddy covers is AN ANIMAL". As for the sports memo guys, ALL of them work their asses off, it is clear to anyone that listens. Personally, (a likely local Vegas Bias), no one works harder than Teddy, but I am constantly AMAZED at how everyone (Rob, Andrew, and everyone else) knows so much about all the teams. I misquoted Andrew, and I apologize for that........ Andrew and Marty have worked their asses off to keep the show running smoothly in the days Tim is out, and have done a great job..... I call them like I see them gentlemen, often in a politically incorrect way. Again, I encourage all to listen to the segment opening.........let me know what you think. I also think it WOULD be good for Teddy to actually lay out his ridiculous 'average day' this time of year.
Teddy now writes a column for Gaming Today. I find it an interesting column. He sure studies the games.
I listened. Teddy sounded rock solid. Lange never came close to saying what Fezz said he did...BUt Lange did sound a little "unorthodox" in his statements and interviewing skills at times.
I like Andrew, I think I overdid it in my description, and critique Hey, I screwed up and overdid it. My apologies! But....there WAS some truth in what I said. Andrew was a bit out of it in that intro, and I was likely a lot out of it in my description. AL -1 Fez -2. Scoreboard! I will say I think it would be good For Tim to sit everyone down and make sure they not just understand the math but follow it. One of the guys yesterday said something like "I understand -3-125 is better than -3.5 -110, but personally I'd go aganist that basic strategy and rather lay -3.5 -110 if forced to bet this Az team". I'm just missing TimT as the host.......impossible to talk for two hours without saying something a little off.......but Tim was damn good at flawless shoes when on and rested.
Lange's a good guy, and he's gotten much better as a host over the last year, but he's a relative sports betting newbie (less than five years of experience), and he's never lived in Vegas. I'm willing to give him a mulligan for this one, and frankly, I'm sure I wasn't a particularly good guest on Monday -- never easy to do radio off a particularly frustrating weekend.
