Anthony or Fezzik

Anthony or Fezzik maybe with your contacts you could get lem banker to post here just a thought
i thought i'd offer a better explanation----with mr banker being the warren buffett of gambling and fezzik being the young gun in town that one could learn from these two and their toughts and styles----also with charlie j being a part of the fezzik tuesday luncheon crowd i wonder if fezz could see if they could post here.
wouldn't be so quick to compare banker to buffett.
is a nameless persn out there who over the long haul is better---other than banker if there is one i wouldn't know who they are

Lem Banker is a name that has been around the las vegas sports gambling circles for quite a few years. But has he been documented anytime like one of our moderators of this forum has been.that won --loss record on this homepage is no B.S. could someone enlighten me!
Despite being in Vegas for about 30 years, I think I've only met Lem Banker once (if that). The reality is, he's from an era past that hardly resembled what we work with today. Is (was) he a great handicapper? I don't honestly know. Some of the old-timers swear by him, but there's not enough information out on him to judge. Anyway, I'd love to see Lem here, but don't have the contacts to get him and not sure an Internet message board would even be something he would do.
could not have said it any better Anthony.
I invited Lem to Join The Board yesterday I'm sure he is very busy getting ready for the season, but I welcome his participation here..........
that would be fantastic----what about some of the other tuesday meeting group
lem used to appear on jack ruebens radio show all the time in the 90's , and was not shy about letting you know who he liked, and i (and jack) kept track---he did well. not being a follower was a costly decision. he has been in print on numerous occasions for full seasons with winning records. but if you don't believe any of that, no problem. lem used to talk about his handicapping ( of football anyway) and it was no great "system". he made a handicap from power ratings, made adjustments for other factors (he delineated a lot in his book) AND THEN HE WENT TO WORK. i can still hear him saying to jack--"what you save is what you earn" . it is/was always apparent in his discussions and writings that value and shopping were/are imperative. in his book, he even counseled looking for other sports bettors (of size) to make man to man , no juice bets (he admiited that as he became famous, it was tough for him to do this). he knew that outs and lines could make a winner a lot easier than a good handicap. THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW HE"S GOOD---he was doing that decades ago. the rules changes and styles don't mean that much in his method.
