Anyone here see or use the buckeye database?

Anyone here see or use the buckeye database? I just read an article by Chad Millman about the buckeye database. The article is about a database that Tom Striker helped create and sold to 9 handicapper for $15,000 each. Dr. Bob, Marc Lawrence each have a copy. Has anyone here had a chance to use the database? Is it worth $15,000?

Tom and I are friends so I'm well aware of the database. It's also used by Marc Lawrence and Al McMordie. I've seen it in action in the past and while I don't own it it does answer many questions we've always wondered about. As far as I know it was owned by Tom Scott and was only sold to the original investors. There was a yearly fee in addition to download all the stats from the previous season. Not sure if anyone of the original owners are at this site. I looked into acquiring it at one time but you had to buy an apple computer and be trained on the program. Seemed like a lot of work for a handicapper that doesn't give a great deal of value to trends.

I use to get his Buckeye Newsletter and bought his picks for a number of years. I always thought he was a pretty good handicapper...
Unfortunately Tom passed away. Open the link to the article.

Tom Scott died earlier this year. Marc Lawrence mentioned it on his site.
