Argos/BC in 5 minutes I am posting this late because I don't have the sharp side so no reason anyone should have their opinion swayed. All of the money has come on BC this week and the line is up to almost -7-120. Although I did think the line when it opened at 7 was probably correct I felt the sharp money would be on the Argos and that has been incorrect.
The Argos haven't won in BC in 10 years or so and during the week Chad Kackert their RB who has had some big games recently is out with injury. BC looked great last week.
On the other side I really believe this is a big statement game for the Argos. They get a decent start time out west. I don't think they have a large emotional advantage since BC has Calgary clipping at their heels but the Argos are coming off 2 wins and have seen Hamilton win big today. Realistically they could win the division in the east and get a bye which is their goal.
The Argos from what I've seen have pretty solid coaching and so does BC. I'm stuck on Toronto +7 but I've reduced my bet. But the handicapper in me likes the Argos tonight to break a long losing run in BC---and if they can't do that I thought the points were a nice bet. We'll see what happens.
FWIW Riggs, Jr is the running back tonight son of Gerald Riggs. He had a helluva camp from what I recall. Kackert may be lucky to keep his job so any move based on losing Kackert I don't agree with even if a known commodity should be better than unknown. In fact, I'm not really sure why Riggs, Jr. didn't get the job to start the year from the way the reviews read.
