As I was looking over the NBA today I made a shocking decision... I'm done. I started thinking about all the thousands of late night hours and the constant grind of this whole damn thing (the sports betting world).... I can't even get motivated to do it anymore. This isn't a family man's game, not for me anyway. I'm not saying it can't be done with a family. I'm sure some with a family are able to do it for a living fairly well and it not cause them to feel like they are "short changing" their family of deserved quality time. Or maybe like myself they are indeed short changing their family but have convinced themselves that they are not, when they know in their heart that they really are. I have only a few short years left of my kid "being a kid" before he turns into a teenager. I'm not willing to waste anymore of his childhood scaveraging for information on forums, trolling team blogs for little known injury news, shopping lines, running numbers, or sweating games. I'm not one that is capable of doing this and not following every ebb and flow of every game. Believe me I've tried....the only way that has worked for me is to be consumed with it all the way 100% every night during the entire season. I'm not willing to make that sacrifice anymore. I can't even concentrate long enough to finish my NBA season wins totals (something that in the past is something I truly loved rationing out), this tells me it is time to move on. I wish everyone the best of luck. I hope you all do well in all your sports gambling activities. Even though I have had my handful share of bad relationships with a select few I wish only good things among everyone regardless if you were a BURGER fan or not. To all the great minds of this business I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all your time, effort, and hard work you put into sharing information over the internet. I won't insult anyone by erroneously leaving them off a very long thank you list, therefor I won't leave one. Have a wonderful holiday season and don't forget to spend some time away from it all and with those that love you....regardless of whether your "play of the night" covered or not Trails
Good luck Burger, and thanks for your contributions. Can't blame you at all. One must always balance the opportunity cost of this work and if family is being neglected, that's a severe cost. I suspect we'll hear from you again. No need to go cold turkey. Perhaps you do for betting and capping, but as a sportsfan I suspect you'll peak at a few games and a few posts now and then just to keep a little contact. Good luck to you.
Good luck Burger!
Nicely said burger! Enjoy your family man (take it easy on the burgers though, especially them size burgers)! No one said you have to quit forever anyway, you can come back anytime you want ... 1, 2, 3, or even 8 years later (once it's in your blood, it's in your blood). GL bro!

I have one very good service that I've been with for years and all I bet is his stuff and the bets I get off of this forum (Ex. Fez, Shrink, Shooter, Old School, etc. ). I do VERY well betting this way and would recommend you consider doing that rather than giving it up completely. But regardless of what you decide...you are absolutely right about not having much time left to spend with your boy. Before you know it he's into girls, etc. and won't have time for dear ole Dad so take advantage of still being uno numero in his life. Good luck, man!
I still
Mobile.... What service if you dont mind me asking have you had success with it?
I don't know you very well Burger but I alway enjoy reading your posts. Family first and everything else second. I second what Mobile Bandit posts about finding a good service. I mainly follow Fezz, Old School etc and make some plays. I would have no time for the family if I capped all of my own games. BOL to you and enjoy the time away!
Burger - shocking is an understatement. I totally applaud your decision and commend you for your priorities. In the scheme of things, whether a shot at the buzzer goes in or not, or the size of one's bankroll, doesn't mean shit compared to the family life you're speaking of. I feel like I've gotten to know you through your posts and the turmoil we all went through with your mother. Wishing you nothing but the best brother. BOL in all things.
Kevin O'Neill
Mobile.... What service if you dont mind me asking have you had success with it?
I've been with Kevin for many years and find him to be very good at picking football and especailly good at picking basketball. He has a guy who works for him who gives out baseball totals that also makes me money every year. I trust Kevin and know from experience that he's honest...a trait very hard to find in his line of work!
