i know what you guys are saying and one wouldn't think so based on public perception of each team. but it looks like CRIS opened 8 while others opened 7.5, yet it has already been bet down to 6.5 at many shops (13 of 21 books per SBR Odds), including pinny. this looks to be a matchup where the line holds at 6.5 or 7 throughout the week (whether due to market resistance or otherwise) despite the majority continuing to favor the Tide, and maybe late steam on the Gamecocks...that's why i'm curious about this particular matchup. if not, (1) where do you see the line closing and when does it reach that number, and (2) what do you think the WA line will be throughout the week? thanks

I'm still learning how to anticipate line movement, so take it with a grain of salt, but I don't see it getting any lower than 6'. I expect it to return to 7 Wednesday and to stay there with extra juice on the favorite before hitting 7' right before kickoff.
