Baseball Total for Wednesday

Baseball Total for Wednesday 958 Phillies/Marlins under 8.5 Hamels is 3-1 with a 1.43 ERA in five starts since Aug. 26. Vandenhurk is coming off a great start. I have no real problem with the Bullpens. Contrary to some beliefs I have no problem backing an under after a doubleheader. All legs are tired except the starting pitchers and now that we are in September, there are plenty of arms in the pen to cover those last 3 innings. Both teams are trending under, large. Combined, they are 5-14-1 to the under the last 10. The final reason I fell off the fence and made this bet is because the ump behind the plate, Sam Holbrook, has called 19 unders out of his 29 appearances.

I watched this game and this guy squeezed the hell out of every pitch. I don't see how a game could ever go UNDER with this guy and his miniscule strike zone.
