I don't know about you guys, but I don't need Jon Gruden or Jaws to tell me whether or not going for it on 4th down, up by more than three tds, with under a minute to go is Bush league. It is the definition of bush league. Take a fkn knee! Kick a FG, have some respect for your opponent. No reason to beat a team by 30. Good reason to get Brady smacked in the waining moments of a future game.

On the orgiinal play I'm sure we know +24.5 is not positive EV on a teaser BEFORE the game. I think you're getting pretty good advice that in the future it is probably not the best strategy to bet this side if your sole reason for betting it was the extra +1.5 pts on the teaser. We do know +24.5 got to +EV throughout the game though. And it lost by perhaps some questionable decisions. I didn't watch the game but I give you approval to say bad beat. The comments saying you "deserved" to lose this bet because your bet was such a flawed strategy not only impolite although I understand the writer's point but after kick off became irrelevant during the game when clearly you had a bet numerous times throughout the game that was very high +EV. I would glady have taken +24.5 numerous times from you during this game most certainly. And many times you could have traded out of your bet for a very profitable middle. I would have to agree strongly that your best bet was +18.5 from a math perspective assuming you had that at around normal juice before the game. This is the type of tease one can do at 5 Dimes on their teaser menu but +18.5 would not be available on the straight menu. Whether this tease is ever +EV or not certainly there is room for handicapping and if you were doing 6 pt teasers at even money on KC it sounds like the best you could do but if you did it solely for math reasons and perceived some edge that way the strategy I have to go with the experts and say it was incorrect before the game.

KC calling timeouts at the end was idiocy. he was begging NE to score. Haley isnt that good of a coach and surely isnt a brilliant one.
