Bet Chiefs Now/Wait On Broncos I have a feeling this will be my biggest exposure of the week by
a wide margin. Will admit I'm a sucker for these spots but the line
at KC +1.5 is just begging for setting up a good teaser position. The
way these side-story games go, locking in the Chiefs now would be wise.
The Eric Berry situation will get more and more general media attention
as the game draws near and we'll certainly see a good amount of the
typical weepy, win one for the sick guy stories so the public will eventually
get around to betting the Chiefs - but will it be enough to move the number
to where KC will become the favorite? With KC off a loss to the lowly Raiders
and with Denver off the comeback win vs Miami it may not be the that easy
but seriously doubt that the line will move the Broncos way so getting down
now on Chiefs seems the way to go if you intend to bet them
Absolutely believe the sharper money will be on the Chiefs. After seeing what
they did to the Patriots in a big MNF home game that they were all jacked up for
it is easy to forecast a similar atmosphere and intensity for Sunday Nights game.
Denver may be walking into a hornets nest. Suggesting that anyone looking
to bet Chiefs do so early and that applies especially to the 1H and to teasers
as any real movement will cost you the +1/2 in the 1H and may push the
Chiefs out of teaser range. If you are siding with the Broncos it is probably
OK to wait and go for those same bets if the line does shift.
