Bills +6 2 weight
Idiot of the week is gonna be a tought one this week Buffalo doesnt go on fourth down down 2 scores. Atlanta doesnt go on fourth down down 2 scores. Cinci spikes the ball on 1st and about 11 to the goalline with 2 times outs left and 45 seconds. Wash St kicks a field goal down 20. Florida (meyer) keeps Tebow on the sideline after a clear head injury that needed a cat scan till he puked. He should have been immediately carted to an ambulance. These are tough to rank. Do we go with just straight rankings or must we divide their stupidity by their salaries? BTW, Tressel confirmed that he won 2 weeks ago by kicking two fgs of 45 and 50 yards yesterday in the rain that would have been good from 55-60... Who will be nominated next weekend?
You can add Mike Leech for going for it on 4th and goal from the 1/2 yardline late in game when a FG would have put them up by 8.
Add Jim Zorn of the Redskins. 1st Drive of the game, he goes for it on 4th and 1 instead of putting pts on the board on the first drive. On the ensuing defensive possession, he takes a penalty on 3rd D instead of declining, which would have made Jason Hanson kick a 50-yder. If he makes it, you are only down 3-0 (should be 3-3). Instead, Stafford runs for 21 yds and 3rd and 13 and the Lions score at TD first to go up 7-0, when at worst it should have been 3-3.
I disagree on the 4th and 1s. Leach had to go. If you can't get one foot, you dont deserve to win and he has no defense. The odds of the other team scoring + a 2 point had to be 50%. The problem i had with Leach is why not roll out or throw once? I also disagree on the redskins. You should almost always go on 4th and 1. The only times I'd say not to go is if you are leading by a lot (2+ scores) and inside your own 40 or you can go up 2 scores with a fg.
I take it no one saw the end of the last 2 college games last night. 2 teams had 1st and goal with 50 seconds and 2+ timeouts left. Both teams ran a clock running play. Both teams called a timeout as quickly as possible (NM st did this 3 times in a row!). Due to this stupidity, I was left sweating a hail mary and a 47 yard fg, when both games should have ended with the go ahead TD. I mean, no one on the sidelines realized this and suggested it to the NM St. coach during the 1st 2 timeouts!!!???

Oh yeah, I was watching the end of that NM St game. That head coach almost gave me a heart attack...stupid piece of shit. I should post my IM chat. At least we won. :)
Sean1, first big fan, Ill add my first thought, Bronco Mendenhall BYU, up by 19 less than 50 seconds and he is handing it off to there star rb Unga who has been banged up all year, I thought this going to be great, a game you had clearly one and you get your star rb hurt possibly for the year. Am I wrong here
