Bookies battle the point spread week 11 Well there's been a real shake up in the Bookies Battle this week as two bookies have dropped ut of the top 5, only to be replaced by some old "friends" that have visited the top 5 either earlier this year, or finished in the top 5 last year. Joe Porrello from the Cannery-West, and Zack Goldberg, who finished in the top five last year and just kept hovering near the top, but couldn't break into it until this week. Zack is from Palace Station. Nice going "lansman". But on top again this week is Jeff Stoneback, who broke into the top 5 only about 4 weeks ago, and has steadily worked his way to the top. Jeff represents the Mirage. 2 wins behind him is William Anderson from the Gold Coast with a 84-58 record. Tied for 3rd and 4th are Joe Porrello from the Cannery, and Duane Colucci from the Rampart with 83-59 scores. And finally gaining a place in the top 5 once more is Zack Goldberg with a 81-61 record. All wins/losses are adjusted for the MNF game. Soooo! Let's get started!! You'll notice that the amount of bookies in the contest is decreasing. If a bookies doesn't put in his picks, he gets the Consensus picks for up to 2 weeks. After that he is eliminated from the contest. As far as line differences go, here are the differences of what these bookies selected their picks compared to the current lines. BAL 9.5/10.5, TEN 4.5/7, NE 2.5/4 AND SD 8.5/10. There is only one unanimous pick for this week, and it's NE. However there ar 7 games picked at 4-1. They are CHI, PIT, DET, BUF, SEA, ATL, AND DEN. Now for the differences. There are also 7 differences this week between the Bookies and the Consensus. The differences have the Bookies taking, HOU, WAS, MIN, BUF, JAX, ARZ, AND PHI. The Consensus is obviously on the other sides! So that does it for this week.. Hope this info either gives you more winners, or stops you from betting a loser!
