Browns +9

Browns +9 I understand the Browns might have H1N1, but isn't GB -9 a classic sucker play? GB's offense is potent, no doubt, but they still have their issues, i.e. protecting A-Rod and rushing the ball when it matters. You can't possibly expect the Packers to come into this one focused, taking their opponent seriously. They they romped a depleted Lions team last week and now are expected to blast a team the home team that's been devastated by the flu. I'll take a BLP--Browns Large, please.
I'd be careful on this one Pistol. The Browns are absolutely dreadful. Whatever little talent they possessed, Mangini traded away for bodies. Now D'Qwell Jackson, their best defensive player, is out for the Browns. Green Bay's run defense is good and Derek Anderson is the second most inaccurate passer in the NFL next to JaMarcus Russell. Good luck to you, but I'm going the opposite way.
The swine has crushed every team this year.

How seriously do you think they'll be taking the Browns?

I'm basing my opinion more on a fundamental handicap than a situational one. This is a strange year in the NFL in that the bottom of the barrel teams, in which Cleveland is a card-carrying member, are really, really bad and unsually not competitive. I think the Packers have too much receiving depth for the Browns to defend against their slants and quick passes. On the other side of the ball, I don't see how the Browns can match the Packers in points. Jamal Lewis has no burst anymore, Anderson isn't accurate and the wide receivers are slow and drop passes (16 in the last two weeks). Their best receiver, Kellen Winslow Jr., was given to Tampa Bay. Cleveland's only weapon is special teams returner Joshua Cribbs and he may not play.
Browns players don't like Mangini and may quit when adversity hits in this game

They won't take Clev. lightly. They need this game or next week doesn't matter. GB will score at least 27 points in this game. Cleveland can't score that much unless they get turnovers. The Packers defense is perfect for this inept offense and with Atari Bigby back and Matthews now starting on defense for the Packers they are simply too talented for Cleveland's offense. Turnovers are the only thing that keeps this game close.
I can appreciate everything that's been said so far, but there's nothing original in here. You're just telling me WHY the Packers are 9 point faves, not why they'll cover as HUGE favorites.

If you know the Packers will score at least 27 points, how is Cleveland going to score more than 17 points?. They've scored like 4 td's in their last 10 games. GB has given up 0 and 17 points against the two bad teams they have played (Lions and Rams) and both of those teams are better on offense.
