What used to drive me completely up the wall (and it's probably the same for a lot of local sports talk radio shows) was whenever one of these guys would preface a segment on a game by saying, "I didn't stay up to watch the game because [I had PTA/had to paint the living room in the moring/some other lame excuse], but here's what I think about it....". Even worse was when the "special morning show guest" was the guy who hosts the equally terrible late afternoon show: "And now, we're bringing in ______ to give his thoughts about Sunday's game." And that guy would come on and say, "I didn;t watch the game because my kids had junior hockey practice, but here's what I think about it...." Also, agreed - good debate.
