Cam Newton-What's The Big Deal?

Cam Newton-What's The Big Deal? I don't understand the big deal with Cam Newton's daddy trying to get paid. What a great hypocrisy. Coaches of a major Div 1 program make millions a year, even some of the assistant coaches make almost a million a year. Universities make millions and millions because of these star athletes, and the BCS is a license to print money, and is the college football equivalent of the mafia for the member conferences. There's no telling how many great games they have deprived people of that would have taken place in a 16 team college playoff over the last few years. Corporate sponsors make millions off of college football, universities realign themselves to get more money from TV & additional revenue from the conferences growing a bigger fan base, Nike outfits teams for free as long as the logo is on the front of the uniform, so what's the big deal for Cam Newton's daddy to get a taste? Everyone knows this goes on at all big football schools and has for decades. Hell, Ed O'Bannon and several other former college athletes had to sue EA Sports to get paid because they used them for their video game after they got out of school. What a sham this whole scandal is...
No offense, but it's annoying to hear the "This goes on everywhere all the time". It does go on a lot in the SEC, but it is not that normal across the country.

Maybe I should tailor my responses to meet your satisfaction? My point was there are egregious inequities in "big-time" college football, and if there was any justice, there would be significant changes made in the system. I am not necessarily endorsing a "wink, wink" let the payolas to highly coveted athletes go by with unfettered exoneration because everybody's doing it. I didn't think I'd have to go to such great lengths to explain what should have been an easily understood by most people.
