cfl: BC at TOR

Seriously, it's really hard to find play by play type info on CFL. WTF happened?

BC kicked the apparent GW FG to go up 29-28 w/ :08 left. Toronto gets the kickoff return and is trying the Cal-Stanford play and BC intercepts the lateral and runs it in for a TD. Awful beat for the Argos. :(

Thank you. I tried to bet +3.5 +108, but someone beat me to it. Line moved to +3.5 +107, but when I went to bet that, they had taken it off the board. Maybe it kicked off a couple minutes early :) Nice to run good for a change.

To be fair, BC had 1st and goal inside the 4. It was a minor miracle they didn't get the TD right there.

They could have broken it, but if you watch the last 2 plays you can tell the objective was more to put the ball in the middle of the field rather than punch it in. Definitely the second play at least. The 18 yard FG from the hash marks is a toughie (remember the posts are right on the GL, not 10 yards back). Oh, and to those betting the CFL for the first time this year, I assure you an ending like this is par for the course. You can expect one of these about once a month on average. And unfortunately, they always always always go against you.

UPDATE: i was out patrolling this pathetic wretch of a city and as i was cruising down the 15 i could make out the figure of clearly distraught man atop the strat. it looked as though he was mimicking a lateral return for a touchdown and every so often he'd jump up and down in a fit of madness. londo, we're all in the same boat sir.

It was a beautiful night though....the heat wave is over.
