CFL FOOTBALL Friday Edmonton at Hamilton Over 52
This week is home and home week. All games from last week play the same team but now the Visiting team is the Home team.
Edmonton put up their highest point total of the year LW in narrowly defeating the Ticats 37-35. QB Ricky Ray had perhaps his best game 28-36-384 with 2 TDs passing plus one TD rushing.
Now many handicappers will say that the opposite will happen this week, and that coaches will make adjustments and the results will be different. To me that is a lazy man's approach to handicapping. We dug allot deeper than that.
Edmonton had to win their last game to keep any playoff hopes alive. Head Coach Richie Hall says, "We will put the ball up in the air on every play if we have to. Our QB has his swagger back and the offensive line is doing their best with the changes we have made."
Good changes indeed. Edmonton has won their L2 games and although we still think Hamilton is the better team and could bounce back here, I think Over the total is the better bet. I made the line 55.5.
In Edmonton last week it was tied 24-24 at the half, these teams can put up 30+ again. I checked the weather at Ivor Wynn Stadium and zero % chance of rain.
