CFL Friday 491 Toronto -1
Yes we are running late to the party laying a point here, but at least we are running with Argos RB Corey Boyd who is perhaps the best in the league and can dominate a game, plus help Toronto hold a lead. The Bombers do not have any talent on offense. QB Buck Pierce was erratic as usual LW 12-26 for a measly 151. They managed just one TD on offense LW vs. the Ticats early in the game and then produced nothing after that. Winnipeg won with a gritty defense but FOUR INTS certainly helped them. The Argos QB Cleo Lemon now in his 2nd CFL season can lead them down-field and he showed exactly that with two solid drives in the final few minutes to steal an important win at Calgary.
493 Calgary +3
Now we getting the best of the number in this contest and I made this game a PK. From a power rating stand-point you cannot/should not have these two teams equal, even after game one, which Calgary put up good numbers but failed to turn them into points. Sure you could give BC 3.5 or 4 points for home field if this were an Eastern team coming in, but Calgary is still the best in the West IMO and will not start the season 0-2 and therefore this line is way too high.
