CFL Monday Toronto @ Hamilton Under 50
This is the classic Labour Day battle (yes labour has a u in it, Oxford, not Websters) with the Argos and Ticats. They played two weeks ago and Hamilton defeated Toronto 16-12 and I do not envision much more scoring in this game. Both teams had last week off. You could say they are rested and ready, but what I'm reading is players and coaches were in California, upper Ontario cottage country and ok, their rested but maybe rusty.
The game is a near sellout and only this game on a holiday against the Argos will Ivor Wynne Stadium ever be full. (unless of course Rush is in concert) The crowd noise and hype for this game usually has too many penalties called and that makes for a chippy, sloppy game and helps our Under.
Argos head coach Jim Barker knows to be successful as Toronto displayed in the first half of the season, they must run the ball with Corey Boyd who leads the CFL in attempts and yards. This also helps our Under.
I initially wanted to come in Hamilton, who has shown signs of the team that everyone expected they would be this season (won L3 games, line is Ham -4) but was hoping to catch less than a field goal. The total when these two teams play is almost always at 48 or less.
