CFL this weekend

CFL this weekend BC has 3 of their WR out for this game and also heard today that Mitchell their star DT has been suspended by the team for the game vs. Edmonton. This line opened BC -7.5 and went up to 8. Bet Cris went to 9 but now 8.5. I think if BC was playing for the Grey Cup in this game they probably should be favoured by even more but since it is not the Grey Cup I think it is alot of points. Edmonton has beaten BC this year in BC early in the year and lost to BC a few weeks ago by one point. Edmonton is playing very well right now. They made a move at QB and OC sounded okay but has worked out very well. They need this win more than BC to ensure playoffs. Given their success vs. BC, the fact BC is a little beaten up and Edmonton has the motivation edge and playing well I'd like to think they can win this game vs. BC..and if not keep it within 8. I did bet Edmonton. Argos play Winnipeg and Ray back at QB for the Argos and Pierce with Winnipeg. Argos by 4.5. Argos have fallen apart and the media mostly wants to put it on the fact Ray is not there but I don't buy it. Ray was the starter vs. Montreal in that key game where he got hurt and the Argos were off in that from the get go. Jackson played well to QB a victory over Winnipeg. They've lost 2 in a row with Jackson but Sask just rolled the Argos. Montreal perhaps they could have won but didn't. Winnipeg has double revenge they are wildly inconsistent but yet I see them as the more confident team here. Argos also played on Sunday. Not a horrible situation but seem bad. It is not the end of the world a few teams have won games in that situation I looked at this year. And a couple weren't so hot. I will bet Winnipeg I think but haven't bet it yet. FWIW Montreal has a tonne of injuries to their key offensive players and they added more this past week. Let me tell you if the Argos lose (and yeah I guess I think they will---too bad I was liking that coach Millanovich for awhile) I would think that would be the ticket to take a nice relaxing trip out to Regina maybe vist the potash mines and see why Canada is such a rich country and allow Sask to competely kick the crap out of your team because you can't afford any more injuries even if it to the guys you don't care about. That is something to watch I think but Mtl would have the 2 game lead with 2 to play and the tiebreaker over the Argos and the Argo loss wiould guarantee 1st place again. Sask by 8 if Argos lose and win by 30!!! LOL Add that I did totally overbet Saskatchewan as it has actually ticked down the line a fraction at Pinnacle. As I say if the Argos lose, I don't see how the line doesn't go way up as Montreal has won the division. If Argos win, the truth is Montreal is still gong to win the division even if they lose to Saskatchewan. I doubt there will be any repercussion to the bet I'm making on Sask if the Argos win since I doubt the line will go down. I will just cross most of it out probably not all of it and if Argos do lose hope I get a decent shot at some middle. Good luck with whatever you do.
EDM @ BC: Lulay could be a game time decision: https://www.cfl.ca/article/preview-lulay-a-game-time-decision-vs-eskimos
Reilly the backup was good. Not alot of games I bet +8 closes +4.5. Too bad I played back half even thought of playing back more but just too big an advantage to do that. It looked like a pretty good shot at the whole banana into the 4qtr. The BC D is strong. I recognize alot of their names seems like their guys are either good or experienced or both in the CFL. They had plenty there without Mitchell. Keron Willams is a really good player. Like Cameron Wake of Miami some of these speed rushers in the CFL really specialize in going after a QB. They get there really fast. I was happy with the Winnipeg win but I had less on that betting against the move there. I don't see any movement at all in the Sask line vs. Montreal. That is it Montreal has clinched with the Argos loss home field advantage could easily announce a wholesale resting of starters (which may not matter at a bunch of positions because the starter is already injured). You have to not start Calvillo I would think. It is a field trip to Saskatchewan. There would just be no benefit to an all out effort to win that game for Montreal for anyone who is a usual starter. If they win with all of the backups welll that is what happens----some of them might be good. Macpherson has been the backup for a few years if he's there but I don't even know who the back up is. If Mac he can run I know that as QB but Sask----like Edm----needs a win. They have to stay motivated and overlook Mtl's situation. At the moment this line is set as if these teams were more or less equal whcih they clearly aren't in this situation. Although Edm and Sask need to win Mtl and BC are not in same position as BC still had reason to win tonight's game. Need some clarity about what Mtl will do but the line has to be a TD after tonight's results and that is probably low assuming some reasonable clinch coaching philosophy.
The word never got out that Montreal was going to change their phillosophy. But saying that good line value on the Roughriders at post. I had a decent shot at the middle with ML on Sask which I overkept but leaped off at the half. Sask was driving at the end to win by 1 but didnt get it. Disappointing to lose units on the CFL here for sure getting the advantage certainly would have liked to split these----never mind my real hope of winning one of these middles. Not sure why Montreal wouldn't change philosophy either. Calvillo had a solid game. I guess we're too far from the end of the season to rest anyone. A desrved loser. My money is not enough to be the sharp money but it is amazing how often it is wrong and I went with them here.
