CFL Week # 7 Friday Winnipeg -3.5 vs Hamilton
This is Week #7 in the CFL and this is the 4th game all ready between these two squads. The home team has won each of the first 3 games, including last week, making this a home and home series. Hamilton held off Winnipeg inside the 5 yard line with time running out to win 29-22.
The Blue Bombers QB Buck Pierce looks like he will be back in the line up after missing the last three weeks with a knee injury. Also, Winnipeg replaced their struggling kicker Alexis Serna (8 of 14 FG, missed 2 LW) with veteran Louie Sakoda who was with the Green Riders last season, should help their cause.
Hamilton has a major distraction. The Pan-Am games for 2012 are going to be held in Hamilton, Ontario and the Hamilton City Council has voted to build a new stadium in the downtown area, but they do not want the Ti-Cats to use it. There is also talk of Hamilton moving to another Canadian city, Halifax, NB is the early front-runner. The coaches and players have been bombarded with questions.
