Championship Sunday I have not pulled the trigger on either game, side or total, but we are warming up for the Super Bowl with a few props that I have played this week. By now we all know there are in many cases quite often much better bets in props than the game itself.
Mark Sanchez Under 18.5 completions -115........Sanchez had 16 completions vs. the Patriots and 18 vs. the Colts. Yes, running the football against the Steelers is usually not successful, and you might think Sanchez would be forced to put it up more often with many 3rd down situations, but this game could be a low scoring playoff battle, 22-17 was the score 5 weeks ago and Sanchez had 19 completed, I see less this time around and the Steelers will make adjustments.
Ben Roethlisberger Will throw an INT Yes -125...zero INTs in his last 5 games, but now the Jets have found their niche again with the best shutdown corners, conversely Sanchez is -220 to throw an INT.
Receptions by Ladanian Tomlinson Under 3.5 -135....LT had 2 receptions vs. the Pats, 4 vs. Indy and just one vs. the Steelers who are the best team in the league at sniffing out the screen pass.
Receiving Yards by Mike Wallace Under 68.5 -110....if the Steelers are forced to come from behind then this prop is not a great bet, but given the poor weather and Wallace had only 20 yards vs. Baltimore and now the Jets could have D Reavis glued to Wallace, and if that's the case this is a slam dunk.
more possible props later in the week.
