BTW, I went out with a Fezzik/L.E.L. bang the last time I posted when the Phils played the Rocks (in the game you and I were on the opposite side of--you won 6-5 in extras!).
I went down to the local casino and laid it down big--like the big boys on here--for the first time ever (after I cashed out on sports and hit another 5k on a 10-times slot machine). I played $100-500 per hand on BJ and $20-100 a pull on slots. It was a thrill beyond my wildest imagination. Just the mixed bars on the $100 slot paid me $500! And I almost hit the 3 7s several times for 8 grand. All in all, I lost several thousand dollars but I hung in there for a couple of hours and have more comps than I know what to do with.
Most important of all, I will have the memory of gambling like a "big shot" for the rest of my life.
And...maybe I can get a wink from Steve Wynn next time he gets my play history and I get a full comp's stay at his luxurious Encore suites tower.
Lastly, thank you very much LVA high rollers for the inspiration to be the best I can be. Without you guys I would have no higher bar to cross in my endeavor to be Vegas' next gambling millionaire.
Next up: 5k on one game in sports ($1500 so far).
71k profit Lenny in baseball (at your peak); nice job getting there from where you were at the start of the season. Always remember the thrill of the victory more than the agony of defeat, because in the end it's the memories that truly matter.
