Check the weather in the Midwest/East this week......... Pittsburgh, PennState, etc wind and rain.......
Pittsburgh, PennState, etc wind and rain.......
Soggy fields a plenty. Downpours in ne ohio and western pa as I type
So what does that suggest? Unders?
Weather for the UT/A&M game (from TWC, don't blame me if it's 100 deg and calm): Rain chance 50% at gametime - 7 pm CT, 20% at 8 pm (rain tapering off). Cold front moving in. Temp falling from 72 deg @ noon to 50 deg @ gametime with windchill in low 40's. North wind @ 17-18 mph for whole game. Turf field drains well. Note that field runs north-south, might make betting quarters interesting.

Looks like heavy rain for Oregon and WA. OR has been bet up to 63. I'll prob play the under. Thoughts?
Rain in Oakland for the Dolphin game, but it will be very light.
Weather A Waste This Year Very, very difficult to make weather plays in advance. Pitt field conditions were rugged yesterday, but the weather no factor. Closest I came today was the first half under at Penn State but the forecast was borderline (I prefer steady 20+ MPH), the stadium is a tall one, and these two teams ahve been giving up some points lately (PSU 21+ for 7 straight games, MSU 27+ 3 of their last 4) so I passed. Never imagined I'd get less return for the amount of time put into weather analysis each week than I got this year.
