College Season Win Totals Advice

College Season Win Totals Advice Too burned out to think of this myself and wanted advice from the panel of experts...i have the following pending. should i roll the dice? advice on insurance or hedging appreciated. id like to salvage my early disasters by making some $$ here...all plays were played for the same amount. probably horrible numbers but they were the best i could find at my agent shops at the time. Ohio State (-135) over 9 wins Penn State (-155) over 9 wins BYU (-110) over 9 wins Tex Tech (-145) under 8 wins Oregon St (-135) over 7.5 wins Fla (ev) over 11 wins WVA under (-135) under 8.5 Thanks
unless u can find +ev bets, roll the dice. you don't want to turn one bad bet into two. i'm not saying your bets are bet, only that hedging is usually a rotten idea
Were your season win bets much larger than your normal betting unit? Were they initially bet thinking you had so much of an edge that you could afford to take a -EV hedge later on? If you answer to either of these questions is "no", stand pat. By the way, any college football win totals portfolio with more overs than unders is typically, uh, suspect. I don't know if this is the case for you. I'm assuming this is a subset of your overall portfolio.
yessir...a subset of the totals left on my card. all others....7 unders and 1 over are decided. thank you for the advice bud
