Consensus Picks Poll or Database

Consensus Picks Poll or Database I'm probably the least knowledgeable and smallest bettor here and truth be told I'm rather lazy but I've been casually posting on the LVA Sports forums for years and betting offshore from before the internet players were around (anyone remember English Sports Betting?) I see that various posters are putting up their picks and I understand that this forum is not intended to be a pick service but here is what I would find valuable enough to consider renewing beyond this first month. A simple database or poll where members can indicate their picks each week. I realize that it would be stupid for myself or anyone to blindly just bet on the games that have the most picks but it would be a starting point for those of us that don't invest a lot of time into this. It would also be helpful for generating more active discussions. Whether each poster could pick every game on the board or just a limited number (say 10 college games and 5 NFL each week) each have positives and negatives so I'm not convinced that there is one right way to do it. Also worthwhile to consider weighted voting. I realize that it would be difficult for LVA staff to design and embed this database directly in these forums so maybe we could just start off with an outside website (I'm sure there are free polling websites that would work) until we see what works best and get something that can be integrated here. Just an idea from a paid forum newbie.
I would suggest someone create a Google Docs spreadsheet on his own and tally the picks made in this forum. Then provide a link here so we can all see it. This would help us see which picks are genuinely consensus picks. Kind of reminds me of the NFL picks matrix that Gaming Today publishes every week with all the sportsbook managers' picks.
Joel, could you parse your name for me? If it were up to me, I'd go with the question.
