There is a lot of silliness in this thread. Fezzik calling the owner is not exactly investigative journalism. Really it is bad to make mislead people with superficial information.
History can become irrelevant. Cascade Lenny lost his backer before he went bust. Before that he was solid. Afterwards he was just an erratic personality with no money. Sportsbook was backed by rich Paradise Poker. The management "bought" the site from Paradise using customer post-up. Sportsbook.com instantly became just a website with no money and no backing.
In many cases there are warning signs. Aces Gold (Sports Market) changed their software one or two months before going bust. But BetOnSports went down literally overnight.
