Deletion Policy?

Deletion Policy? Anthony wants to moderate a high-quality forum. Personally I think a little variety is good. Anthony can provide kindness and encouragement, while the others provide "tough love". In other words I would be careful about deleting. Advantage gambling is about information, not censorship. Now I don't see the thread that contained a trojan program. It is just irresponsible to bust the whole thread without warning people who downloaded that program. They could lose their entire sports balances.
I agree about the Trojan thread. I clicked it like an idiot and clearly at least two others had as well. Fortunately I saw the thread at RTP and have taken action, but if I only hung out here, it could've been really bad. As you say, there is a lot of danger to sports bettors as we all have lots of cash and credit in our accounts.
Of course the thread should still be up.........without the link in it. Deleting the whole thread leaves everyone in the dark. I'd advise starting a new thread for people who did download the program.
We took it down to analyze and prevent problems (based on recommendations outside the board). We'll put it back up without the link if you want it.

Pretty good idea to put it back up.
We took it down to analyze and prevent problems (based on recommendations outside the board). We'll put it back up without the link if you want it.
I was shocked that it was removed.
Who started the thread? I only ask because there was the thread Helmut started that had a link to his model that didn't work; and I clicked on that. I'm hoping that's not the one you are referring to. I have a lot of balances at several books and need to know if I have to be concerned.
Thats the one
Who started the thread? I only ask because there was the thread Helmut started that had a link to his model that didn't work; and I clicked on that. His account was not even hacked. He used same password and logins at Beyond Capping. Those log ins were used at various sports forums to post the trojan. You most likely have it on your computer.
Thanks. So how do I check to see if I have it and what do I use to get rid of it?
a squared free
Thanks. So how do I check to see if I have it and what do I use to get rid of it?
Go to the "a squared free" website and download their free virus scanner. After you download it, run a scan. If the Trojan is there (as it was for me!), it will be flagged and then you can delete it easliy. By the way, when I ran the scanner, I found two other dangerous viruses on my computer I didn't even know were there! I deleted them also. Great program!
